I’ve read a couple of Ms. Steele’s’ books now. This is a writer that is going places. Now about the book. We have a contract killer and a victim with phobias. Various other bad guys flit in and out. “Miller,” the contract killer, is a sadist with a heart. “Laura” is a victim with phobias. Now this should be a contradiction. Yet Steele is able to pull it off. There is an aura of mystery which starts at the beginning and never lets up. The writing was descriptive, and the characters well drawn. This book started off really good, I thought it was going to really turn into something good... it didn't. matter of fact it seemed like the Author got tired of even writing it and gave up.. The whole idea of this woman living like a recluse and this hit man falling in love with her and moving into her apartment and take over her life in a matter of days and her being ok with it then wanting to be a hit man like him.. STUPID.. don't waste your money.

I think this is one of the best books yet from Susanne Steele. I like the tie-ins to her other books. I'm not a professional view writer but I know what I like to read and these kind of stories are so good. Can't wait for the next book!!! Would love to see more of Glazov and his bad ass!!!!!
It's liike you enter in a movie theater and the film started 45 minutes ago. You understand what it's hapening, because you have seen other films alike, and some very important parts are understood, but not explicit. As a book, it's not very well written; as a plot, it's something you've read before.
